Here in Australia, probably a worse way to go, is the gympie gympie plant, it creates a rash come itch that drives you to suicide. You can not get rid of it, so it is constant! You can live for a year or two before finally committing suicide, but you w ill do it, just depends how long you want to suffer!

I’m a little farther north so it shouldn’t show up here. Where I am the biggest plant threat is giant hogweed. Dangerous enough, thank you. In spite of its beneficial uses might be an idea to try and eradicate this tree. The dangers seem to outweigh the benefits. I’m sure there are less dangerous trees that can be planted along the water to protect the coastlines. Perhaps mangroves? Or sea pines? If the Manchineel were used to protect borders it would have to be planted close to water as it prefers to grow near shorelines. In the case of the southern US border maybe the Rio Grand? But then there would be a real danger of the tree spreading far beyond its confines as the seeds are spread through water movement. To me a better solution still to eradicate it.
I am not sure why they allow it to remain, I presume that they are keeping it because they are hoping it has some purpose medically or something. I agree the spread of seeds through the water would be a big concern. Also, if used as a border, then there is little way to ensure that children, for example, are not being injured by it. CC: Mostly agree with you. We had a youth camp not far from town in Penna for teenage boys who were sent there rather than jail. What kept them in line was, critters. Snakes, skunks, coyotes. Owls and bears. Some were there over a year and never escaped. A lot tried, but were happy to get out of the brush. When my daughter moved to Brooklyn, it took a few weeks to get used to the subway and constant (should say different) noises. I loved it, too, but 2 weeks at a time was enough. Wouldn’t take much to cause a massive famine if everything goes sideways and we end up in a depression worse than the one we had in the thirties. The entities controlling this planet are beyond evil and beyond corruption. Don’t even know if I’d call them human anymore. I’ve said a number of times that this planet is ruled by some very evil entities. At least that’s what it seems like. To keep us in constant conflict and hate against each other. This world could be such a paradise for us if only we had the will to make it so. We have everything here we need. Loads of water. An abundance of minerals. Breathable air. A magnetic field to deflect dangerous particles from space until the core cools. Still gives us a couple of billion years. And what do we do? Completely screw the planet up. Engage in a never-ending war against our fellow man. We don’t deserve this planet. And if there is a god and if it’s a vengeful god would be better for it to wipe us out completely and start again from scratch. There’s still time. We’re a failed experiment.

I have heard of Tore Says, Sewnya. Even had a chance to listen to some of her stuff. She’s a very brave, smart woman. Now that you’ve reminded me of her will have to go back and watch some of her videos. There’s just so much other stuff going on it’s hard to stay abreast of the news. I’ve been watching videos by; “I allegedly”. Tucker Carlson. Mark Moss. Peter Schiff. Michael the Australian investor trying to make money. And a few others. They’re mostly all saying the same thing and the future they portray scares the crap out of me. The FED has screwed up badly with all their money printing. They’ve done nothing so much as devalue the American dollar to the point where the greenback’s purchasing power is basically nil. The American dollar is worthless. CPI keeps climbing. Inflation keeps climbing. The stock market is in a huge bubble. Overvalued. Overleveraged. Most are buying on margin. The major American banks have stopped giving out personal lines of credit. The banks are cash rich. They don’t want to be. That’s not how they make their money. Unemployment cheques are going to stop shortly. Moratorium on evictions is going to stop shortly. US national debt is over 28 trillion and keeps climbing. Total US debt is over 85 trillion. I just about choke when I say that. This can’t keep going for much longer. Global shipping crisis is getting worse. Some of these sailors have been on their ships for over a year. And of course this damn fake pandemic. And there’s probably lots of other things I’ve missed. I can’t know everything. Whoever or whatever planned this, and I do believe it’s planned, did a really good job if they want to grind the human race into the dust. If things pan out as they’ve planned then the twenties could end up being a lost decade. All we can do is try and be as prepared as we can and hope for the best. Hope it’s enough.

I have no use for Afghanis until they come here to make a new life, then I welcome them to our America and hope they find the freedom we have here worth giving their lives to. I did a lot of contracting over the years in immigrant and minority communities, it was easy money because they are underserved. Lots of Arab, Asian,Latin and African customers I had a relationship with, never found any group of people who weren’t good Americans, or on their way to becoming good Americans. The Pakistani Madrassa in East Dallas was at times scary, but I learned that was because the old folks were upset that their kids were assimilating and there was nothing they could do to stop it.
Republicans have an unfounded fear that immigrant communities, especially Latino communities, will become a unified block of Democratic voters pushing Pelosi’s supposed Commie Socialist Nazi agenda over the top. Truth is, the great majority of immigrants are deeply conservative, many of them Fundamentalist in their religion. The Latino vote in Texas is shifting to Republican, if the Republicans allow it, mostly turning on the issue of abortion. California Gov. Pete Wilson single handedly turned California Blue by antagonizing Latinos in that state to the point they became a solid democratic block.
Speaking of the PDRK reminds me that LCC always thought that, no matter what political, economic, social or military scenario people were going crazy over, it was a Covington Event, a massive CME, that was most likely to devastate the country. So I keep checking spaceweather.com where they keep track of solar activity, happy to report the latest CME is going to miss Earth, it was of medium strength, nowhere near catastrophic. Calm solar weather is predicted for the near term, but the sun has definitely entered a Solar Maximum, 10 or so years of violent eruptions, so look to your preps, count your chickens, and don’t spend so much time on the Internet.
