When something goes wrong and help is far away, even a simple problem can become serious. A deep cut that won’t stop bleeding. A fever that keeps climbing. An infection that starts small and gets worse overnight.
Most people try to solve that problem by stockpiling supplies. Bandages, medicines, antibiotics if they can find them. But anyone who has been preparing for a while knows supplies can’t last forever. They get used, expire, or simply run out.
What actually stays useful year after year is knowing what to do and, most importantly, how to do it.
That idea is what pushed us to create the follow-up to The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies, written by Dr. Nicole Apelian, who is also a famous herbalist and survival expert. She spent decades gathering practical plant knowledge people once relied on when doctors were far away and pharmacies didn’t exist on every corner.
Since the book came out, we’ve been receiving a steady stream of messages from readers. Many of them say the same thing in different ways: they wanted to stop depending entirely on conventional medicine.
One message we received recently really stayed with us. The person who wrote it said we could share it with you:
**”Dear Nicole,
I can’t tell you how grateful I am for the release of your new book. I absolutely loved the first Lost Book of Herbal Remedies and I was thrilled to dive into the sequel. So far, it has exceeded my expectations.
Let me tell you what I loved most and what I found challenging… maybe you could consider that for any future book.
By the way, I see you have improved your delivery process. The new cardboard envelope you’re using, along with the plastic book covering, makes it almost indestructible. Good job!
I gotta confess, I wasn’t expecting it to be too different from the first version, which was not a bad thing.
But oh boy, when I opened the book to a random page and saw all those huge National Geographic-like pictures of the plants growing in their natural environment… wow, I was just amazed.
You guys, I can tell you put A LOT into the book. Not only with the pictures but also everything else from the detailed instructions to these section icons which made it easy to dart to the exact info I needed.
The simple instructions for making remedies have been wonderful. Now I can use all of the plants I pass by with confidence.
And even if plant identification has probably never been easier the thing that stood out for me the most… was the recipes!! The step-by-step antiparasitic remedy really did the job for me!
It came at the perfect time when I was dealing with a parasite infection and also unresolved joint pain. I needed a simple, effective way to handle both problems and these two remedies were life-savers.
Here’s the remedy I made:
I used the Common Pepperweed remedy and paired it with Sweet Wormwood, exactly as you recommend in the book. I followed the dosage instructions and within a week the parasites were gone, without any nausea or side effects. My energy came back in a way I hadn’t felt in years. Looking back, I realized it wasn’t my age causing the chronic fatigue at all – it was the parasite, and nothing I had tried before worked like this remedy.
The only challenge I had was actually choosing between so many remedies. For example, for parasitic infection alone there are about 12 different recipes using different plants, so I caught myself going back and forth trying to decide which one to try first. Honestly, that was the only thing I found challenging, and it’s actually a good thing because it shows how complete the book really is.
All in all, this book has become just as indispensable for me as the first one.
Also, thank you so much for the three free bonuses I received. Honestly, I didn’t expect them at all, so it was such a nice surprise. I especially love the Wild Edibles book. I’ve been using it with my kids to explore the nature around our home, and it’s quickly become one of our favorite things to do together.
I’m truly grateful for all the effort you’ve put into helping people live a healthier life.
– Warm Regards”
Madison Stone
Madison’s story reflects something we’ve been hearing more often lately. Even those who have spent years preparing are starting to see the limits of a shelf full of medicine. Bottles run out, expire, or simply aren’t there when you need them most.
So, many of our readers have asked us the same question: what do you do when your supplies are gone?
That question led us to create a second part of The Lost Book of Remedies. In collaboration with Dr. Nicole Apelian, the book was written to help you navigate uncertain times while still being just as useful in everyday life.
It earns its place in your home by offering a practical way to recognize and use natural resources when there’s no pharmacy and no easy backup.
When you know which wild plants can help with infections, ease pain, or deal with parasites, that knowledge becomes something you can rely on in a crisis.
Messages like Madison’s come in every day from readers who decided to add The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies II to their survival library.
If you’re curious what’s inside and why so many people are adding it to their survival library, you can check it out and see it for yourself here.

Doc Nicole, always A+
She still has not responded to my marriage proposal, and so far my wife doesn’t know about it either.
For the skeptics, my first wife suffered from a heart tissue problem. The best Dr’s wanted her on the table in 12 Hrs ( no time to consider or get another opinion) They wanted an implant and SEVERE medication for rest of her life, new med’s every 4 years for 16 years. NO physical activity, ever again. She was just 30 and 2 months old. I asked what about after the 4 drugs are finished ? ( she would be 46 and NO other meds available), “hopefully they would invent another Med by then”. She declined their plan ! ! ! She had just started working with an Ayra Vedic physician, they poo poo’d that idea, but she was just starting to see results ! She is now about to turn 62. Never had the implant, never had THOSE meds. It took a while to get the right formula of Herbs, plants, etc, but she is as active as she wants to be, which is a thousand times more than they would EVER allow.
In short, the Ayra Vedic doc saved her life, he died from ALS, which he quietly kept at bay for 30 yrs. And, when he passed we all found out, he was 27 years older than any of us would have guessed.
I watched Doc Nicole on the best survival show ever. Yes I have her books. She is the real deal !
IF SHTF, I want her with ME
For those in the southeast, check out the Legacy Wilderness Academy videos on YouTube. Matthew Hunter does a great of explaining what various plants look like and what they are used for. He also references some well-known herbalists that have taught this stuff throughout the years. He also offers classes and documents to refer to for identification and use of various herbal medicines.
